So the destroy ending is mostly seen as the cannon ending so it kinda sucks that no matter what in cannon the geth and edi get destroyed

dunno man I just like the indoctrination theory more to the point no ending would have satisfied anyone and the fact that we have indoc theory or the dark matter theory as a direct result of the oversight towards consistency near the end of the trilogy as an actual blessing

my favorite piece of star wars media EVER and this three part documentary analysis (that i just found) was just what i needed. the s7 reveal makes me nostalgic for early 2020, oddly enough, because it was everything to me to see the clone wars return. all three parts of the videos highlighted this sw series so well!!!!

I was never able to connect with Anakin in the movies. I’m still not able to. But the one in the show is so well developed and has one of the greatest character arcs in media history. He is my second favorite character of all time for a reason. This is my favorite show ever. I hope to be able to bring quality stories like these to others around the world someday ❤

Honestly, I just played TLOU and I know I'm late, but this game really traumatized me. All the death scenes, brutality, I actually became really scared and uncomfortable even though I keep making jokes for brutal deaths but seeing it in a game that realistic, I don't know if I can even handle it in real life.. This game is so deadly realistic that it gives me these scared certain feelings whenever I think about all the innocent people that died and the people I killed (in game). It's so sad and scary.

Ive seen so many videos about this game and your is on the top shelf :) 9:20 It still baffles me that Druckmann could create such a beloved game and story that also took inspiration from his own life, but he and ND couldnt replicate this honest to life true magic and well constructed masterpiece into Part2... 16:51 Change is what iam missing from Part2, the game doesnt introduce that level of meaningful change to its characteres at regular intervals. The game is a long redemption slog that drags on forever and forces you to play and like Abby which everyone deeply despises from start to finish. Ellie doesnt change that much, only looses fingers and doesnt find any piece by the end of it...

No other game has made me consider the humanity of combat, it’s so immersive to watch I’m still amazed by it. No other game has reached the heights of this one and I can’t wait for part 3.

I recently stumbled upon the universe Mass Effect because I was extremely disappointed in Starfield and its lack of aliens or stories with any kind of depth. I’ll never go back. Mass Effect is exactly what I wanted on a game that focuses on space.

Strongly believe that Joel should of did the necessary in the first game. I truly understand Joel attachment to Ellie. We all have been attached to someone. A truly heroic Joel would of been this : After taking care of Ellie all that time he felt absolutely horrible to let her go to save humanity and then he end up taking his life away. The sadness would at least make sense. It's end up with so much chaos and death and pain. A hero is not psychopathic or unabled to love but moral principles that maintain peace and social cohesion have to lead our actions. Therefore a heroic Joel would of did the necessary but because he would be unable to live with the pain he would commit suicide. And then the credit would role, a requiem but with a sun rise as humanity come back to peace and prosperity. End of the story. No need for all the death and chaos that followed.

Some stories are mean to be happy and some are mean to be a cautionary tale. This is a very disturbing but effective and good cautionary tale.

I love at 43:15, people always assume that their pain is always worse than someones elses.

I finished playing through this game. I was more or less left feeling sad and kinda numb at the outcome of the story. It leaves me wanting to know what Ellie will make of her future in Part 3.

It is clear to anyone that has a brain that Abby can’t be that muscular without steroids. So if there isn’t any steroids in the end of the world then she is a man. And so the sex scene is a gay sex scene. You never see any real female topless in the game just this character

Right next to the series finale, the Bad Batch Arc is my favorite of Season 7. The introduction to Clone Force 99 (who’s basically the Star Wars version of the A-Team) is the most exciting and badass thing to exist in the Prequel Trilogy Era.

I get so tired of these videos just telling the story, beat for beat, worse than the original story. Nothing is added.

Played through the game for the second time ever after having only played it upon release. Naturally, life is very different now, from the mentality of a college graduate looking for a job to the mentality of a husband and father, more enlightened and open-minded, and all I have to say is, “This game does not deserve the hate it got. It is a human-horror masterpiece.”

I just finished watching through all 3 videos, and I'm blown away. The editing is top tier. Made me tear up a few times. This is my favorite game series. The ending may not be great, but the journey is unforgettable. I got invested in the story and the characters. I still get anxious and emotional on my 5th playthrough at certain parts. No other game has had that effect on me. This is my favorite games on the citadel 💙

Pablo said in an interview that apparently Rebels has been in the works since around 2014 and was planned even before the EU became decanonized. Also, that Lucas was planning on getting rid of the EU since 2012. This was back when Lucas still was in charge of LF according to Pablo.

The main problem I had with TLOU2 was the pacing. I feel it would’ve been better with Abby’s story rewritten to take place before Joel dies, her arc culminating in killing Joel - as you said, perpetuating the mistakes of Joel’s generation. From then, Ellie can hunt her as per normal, falling for those same traps of humanity, leading up to Santa Barbara where she lets Abby go. For me, part 1 was immaculate story telling, and 2 wasn’t

Im always shocked when i hear people speak as if ellie was scared of being cannibalized when it was quite obviously a child terrified of being sexually assaulted
